What's there to do in Saratoga and Lake Geroge? |
Travel Info Can anybody suggest sights and places that are worth going to in these places? Travel Tips Well it depends on what you want to do while you're there and what time of year are you going? I'm assuming this summer, so in Lake George there is boating, camping, water sports, fishing,outlet shopping, 6 Flags theme park, and hiking. As for Saratoga, there is SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) for concerts and ballet performances, museums, awesome places on the main street (down town) to shop and eat (out door dinning), mineral springs/day spas and in July/August the race track is open and there is a racino open year round as well. Other Travel Tips It has been many years since I have been there and it was the middle of winter, but I can recall a couple of things. Saratoga had a great little antique district downtown. I'm not into that, but the atmosphere was nice. There is a horse racing track and Saratoga Springs too. Lake George had an amusement park. |
