Where would you recommend living? TN, KY, VA, WV? |
Travel Info I am looking to relocate to either KY, TN, VA, or WV. I need a nice neighborhood with good people and great schools. I would love living in an area with the country folk. Any Suggestions would be great! Much Thanks. Travel Tips Definitely Kentucky. Move to central Kentucky....any of the counties surrounding Lexington are absolutely beautiful and the people are very nice. It would be considered "country" but yet you'll be close to Lexington. Some of the towns in this area are Versailles, Georgetown, Winchester, Paris, Richmond. Source(s): I've lived here all my life and have visited the other 3 states you mentioned. Other Travel Tips Anywhere but VA. Too crowded. Tennessee is nice, but only if you appreciate southern culture. Some people love it, some people hate it. I hear Kentucky is really nice and beautiful, but I've never been West Virginia is essentially like Ohio and Pennsylvania. Though, I think people from that state get a lot of crap for being from there. Who hasn't heard a WV incest joke? Northern VA is very crowded, but southern VA is not. Southern VA is some of the most beautiful country I've seen. Good people. I recently moved to SC from Northern VA. I would have stayed in southern VA if I could have found a decent job. Problem w/ southern (more specifically southwestern) VA is that the cost of living is not in line w/ the salaries. I would not live in WV. Infamous for very poor schools. They do not reinvest in their infrastructure. KY and TN I have no personal knowledge of. |
