Travel Info Has anyone been to branson Missouri. From Vancouver B.C.? Travel Tips I live in the Branson Missouri area. I have been here for nearly 15 years and the area has changed considerably. Once known only for "setting sun" country music acts, the Branson area has really become more of a live entertainment mecca. You of course can find your silly "B grade" entertainers, but there are quality shows. What is most exciting is the great time on Tablerock Lake, the beauty of the surroundings and the up and coming shopping and entertainment districts along with the upscale accommodations that are now the modern day Branson. It is still quaint and family oriented, but with a more sophisticated traveler demanding a wider experience, Branson is again on the upswing in meeting the needs of the younger traveler. I advise you to come and enjoy.I'm not from Vancouver, Canada, but I can tell you that if you are under retirement age Branson is not the place for your vacation. I grew up 3 hours from it and I don't even think it's worth a 3 hour drive because I'm not that into the Lawrence Welk show and plenty of more entertaining locations have outlet malls. |
