There are four zones - Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific (and a couple places that don't change, like Arizona - but that wouldn't affect your question). The difference between Eastern and Pacific is always 3 hours - if it's 3pm in the East, it's 2pm in the Central, it's 1pm in Mountain, and noon in the Pacific. Others Eastern is three hours ahead of Pacific. Three hours. Eastern Time (New York, etc.) is three hours ahead of Pacific Time (California, etc.). 12:00 p.m. Eastern = 9:00 a.m. Pacific It is 3 hours later EST than PT. |
