Travel Info I asked a question earlier but I think it was to specific. Whats it like living in the US (Texas in particular) Would anyone recommend moving out there, hows the weather things like that! What do people think of moving out there. Also anyone shed some light on nursing in America, how is it viewed over there? Any views, be random! Many thanks Travel Tips Texas is just fine. It does get warm in the summer and cold in the winter. What else is new. There are lots of things to do and the big question is... What city id your husbands new job in? As far as nursing goes. There is a huge demand for nurses in the industry. Austin and San Antonio are great towns and there are some great beach city's as well. Don't let the nay Sayer's turn you off. Texas is extremely hot right now, temperature wise. I wouldn't go there unless it was absolutely necessary. My best friend lives near Dallas and she is melting from the heat... well, when she's not hiding out from tornadoes, that is! Why do you want to go to Texas? Nurses (particularly RNs) are well tought of in the USA and also well paid. Where do you expect to live in Texas (what city/area)? It's a big place, and not all the same. |
