I have some questions about traveling to Wayne, NJ.? |
Travel Info What is the best airport to fly into? I plan on staying at a hotel near an airport the first night and last night. I plan to stay at a hotel near Wayne one night. I will have GPS but can guarrantee I will get lost. I wish I didn't have to get a rental car and could do public transport (taxi, etc.). Travel Tips You wanna fly into Newark Intl Airport which is the closest major airport to Wayne. It is about a 35 minute drive from Newark to Wayne (if there's no traffic). You can take public transit from the Airport to Wayne. Log on to njtransit.com to find the bus line that'll take you there. Others Newark, NJ is the closest airport to Wayne, NJ - and is about 45 minutes away. My next choice would not be a NYC airport but rather Westchester County (White Plains, NY), which is about 75 minutes and over the Tappan Zee bridge = lower tolls and easier access than Laguardia or Kennedy (perhaps 2 hours away). I live in North Jersey for over 20 years. |
