What is the best area to stay for a 2 week visit to the states? |
Travel Info Im thinking of visiting the states in 2008 for 2 weeks me and my sister are both in our twenties and so would love somewhere with a nice beach and good nightlife without being totally overcrowded. Travel Tips Miami ofcourse...but you really dont need two weeks there...but if you rent a car you can drive up to orlando or go to other parts of florida or if you have time you can go on a 3 day cruise to the bahamas or even drive down to key west...if you go to miami try to get a hotel close to ocean drive...dont forget to check out versace's mansion and the trendy shops are only one street away. There is also a great outdoor mall that you can walk to from ocean drive. The beach is beautiful and the atlantic ocean is amazing...and the people are super friendly...there are alot of cubans there so it might be wise to bring a spanish dictionary with you...try to go to little havana in miami if you have time and see the authentic cuban culture first hand. They are very friendly people. Oh and dont forget to see "star island" that's where all the really expensive beautiful homes are...and alot of those houses are owned by celebrities. Others california and miami miami! Miami. But don't confuse Miami with anywhere else in Florida. They're like 2 different worlds. Also crowds there will depend on the time of year you go. ie: Spring time will be the most crowded becuse of spring break. But you'll pretty much always have lines for the best clubs. |
