If you could go anywhere in the East US for vacation...? |
Travel Info Where would you go? I'm looking to go somewhere different. Please no beaches, I'm not that type. Something interesting and unique. The thing is, it has to be in reasonable driving distance of Pittsburgh. I'd say the limit is the Carolinas. Nothing quite that far. Ideas? Travel Tips Steamtown USA in Scranton (PA) - it's really cool. Gettysburg is pretty awesome too if you're into history. Boston...Cooperstown, NY (Baseball Hall of Fame)...Cass Scenic RR in West Virginia...Shenandoah National Park / Skyline Drive...Harpers Ferry (WV)...Niagara Falls...Put-in-Bay (OH)...Mammoth Caves National Park (KY)...Charleston (SC)...New York City...
