Travelling to the USA, will I have trouble getting in?

Travel Info
When i was young, i was very wayward, (bit of trouble with our lovely uk constabulary), picked up a conviction for affray. Have grown up!!! I am totally reformed (done lots of repairation, worked with disadvantaged children, etc) now and may have the possibility of going to the florida keys, i'm a bit worried about the US immigration policy, All Advice Welcomed!

Ask the American Embassy before you go.
well if you get your visa you will know if you can get in or not.. you wont get in without a visa so you go to the embassy in London and get your form and fill it in and then queue for your visa....
i cant imagine that would stop you getting in if you have a valid reason for going. and you have a visa etc etc...
You shouldn't have any problems at all as long as you have a return ticket. US Immigration may take your picture and finger print you but you should have no problems.
Please contact the the U.S. Embassy in London or one of the two U.S. consulates in Belfast and Scotland. Here's how you can reach them:

Also note that most British citizens can get into the US temporarily without a visa, since the U.K. has a VWP (visa-waiver program) agreement, but contact one of the above US diplomatic offices to be sure.
