Is a good plan??

I am planning to buy a pickup truck and put a canopy and a mattress in the back of it so I can sleep in it. And Then I will drive it around from ski hill to ski hill and ski bum and live out of my truck for a month or so. Is this a good idea?

Not a good idea. You'll get tired of freezing your butt off. You also will get real tired of being grubby all the time (been there, done that).

In the long run what works better is to find a place that has got about 5 or 6 good ski areas close by, and go in on a condo or house with a few other people. It might be noisier than you're used to, but at least you'll have a warmer place to shower, sleep, and cook. If you don't mind cramped spaces you can get 6-8 people to go in on it with you. Then if the noise or parties get too outrageous, if you have your pick up truck, you go out and sleep in it :-).
