Have you been the the cheyenne mountain zoo? or pikes peak? |
Travel Info In colorado springs? Were they fun? What did you like most about them? Travel Tips I've been to Pikes Peak. My favorite part was the train ride. If you get the train tickets then they give you a tour as you go up the mountain and they show you wildlife, they tell you when you are in the middle of clouds and they tell you just about anything you want to know. They have reenactments of what it was like 50 years ago and everything else. The train is awesome and when you get to the top there is a shop and a restaurant and you can stay up there as long as you want and then ride the train back down. Two statements though. 1.) 14, 110 feet in the air there is less oxygen so you might get a slight headache or become a little light headed but it's ok they have medicine in the store. 2.) Take your cell phone if you have one! Surprisingly there is cell phone service up there and it's fun to call relatives from the top of Pikes Peak! Good luck! Have fun! Hope you have a good time! -<3beth<3- (The train ride is about 25-35 minutes!) Others Yes, Pikes peak is Amazing. You can see 3 states over and theres this little hut at the top with an oxygen bar. Kinda stupid but the view is incredible |
