When's the best time to go to the zoo to avoid crowds the most? |
Travel Info i know there's gonna be a lot of people, but when would be the best time to avoid most of the crowds? morning, noon, eve? thanks...-- i'm going tomorrow-saturday. Travel Tips If you must go on a Saturday, show up first thing in the morning. The best time to go otherwise is when school starts back up in the fall and on a weekday. Others Going on a sat is going to be the heaviest traffic day of the week are they open on sundays? Otherwise the evening would be a better bet most people go do their activites earlier. before they open or after they close In the morning, definitely! Crowds aren't there yet, but if you go in the evening, the zoo starts to shut down. I was at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and the animals were inside, and the houses closed at 5:00pm so you couldn't see any animals whatsoever even though the zoo wasn't going to be closed until 8:00pm! |
