Does anyone know how far the Falls are from the bus station in Niagara, NY? and....?

Travel Info
--is it hard to cross from the American to the Canadian side?

--is there an entrance fee?

--how late does the site stay open at night?

Thanks.

I believe the bus station is right in downtown Niagara Falls, only a few blocks from the bridge to Canada. It's the same for the train station.

A driver's license will get you across the border, although bring a birth certificate just to be sure. I'm sure there's a toll for walkers just like there is for cars, but it's not too bad ($2.50?).

I went to the Canadian side last year and there was no entrance fee. I just had to show my passport on the highway at a toll-type booth. Horseshoe Falls (the Canadian side) doesn't close, you can go there all night. They illuminate the water at nighttime, that doesn't last all night, but you can watch them all night long. There are also fireworks at scheduled times at 10pm. I'd personally suggest the Canadian side.
