If you are staying just in Los Angeles, check out the L.A. zoo, Hollywood, any beach, and Universal Studios. The obvious ones first: *Magic Mountain and Raging waters(it's been a hot summer) north of L.A. in Valencia depending on how old the kids are and whether they like roller coasters/water parks *Universal Studios can be fun, although it's not cheap and the lines can be long. *The Grove and Farmer's market are just shopping centers really, but fun to walk around in *Hollywood/Highland is the same thing, but you are next to Grauman's Chinese and the Pantages is across the street * For inexpensive food, a Pink's chili dog at La Brea and Melrose and any "In-n-Out" burger place. |
