Convince my mom to let me go to more concerts?

Travel Info
I am pretty much in love with the jonas brothers, and i reeeeally want to go to more of their concerts. I live in houston, and they're on tour right now, but the next time they come close to my city is july 26, they go to corpus christi, but i'm gonna be in england then, and the last time they come close is in october, they come to dallas. i've been to one of their concerts on june 20 in galveston, but i REALLYYY want to go to more. me and my sister are HUGE fans, but my mom doesn't want to drive us all the way to dallas. and after the dallas concert, they don't come back to texas AT ALL, until probably next year on their NEXT tour. and the dallas concert is on a monday, which is a school night, and i would miss school the next day and my mom would have to drive about 6 hours there and back :( hoe can i convince her to let us go?

Travel Tips
It seems your mom's major concern if that she doesn't want to drive 6 hours there and back. If you have an aunt or uncle or another adult that your mom would trust to drive you girls...would she let you go then?

If not, you would have to promise alot and follow through with it (and it might get results):
Like: We don't have to drive straight through to Dallas. We could leave enough time to take a few stops on the way so you won't get too tired, mom.
I will get any class or homework assignments beforehand from the teacher so I don't miss anything at school
and
I will help you (with the housework/yardwork, whatever your mom needs help with).

If she says no after all the above, accept it (don't bug her) and be pleasant. Don't mope. Moms have been known to change their mind if they see mature behavior in their daughter(s)! Source(s): I'm a mom.
Other Travel Tips
Maybe if you would offer to pay for the gas price and tell her you'll do a lot around the house?
Find a safe way to get there and back that doesn't involve your mom driving there. Bonus points if you can somehow make it to school the next morning. Your mom probably doesn't want to make you miserable, but who wants to drive and drive for hours after working all day to go see a band they don't even care about? I don't blame her.

Maybe you should see if you have a friend or a friend's brother or sister who has a car who you can pay to drive you (or better yet, who wants to go anyway and would just like you to chip in for gas money) and then do odd jobs between now and then to come up with the money.

Edited to add: Oh, I like the above response. Maybe you could offer to do a whole bunch of things around the house this summer if your mom agrees to take you. Offer to mow the grass and clean the garage and do all the laundry all summer or something. Make it something that saves her huge amount of time, and maybe you'll make it worth it to her.
Don't go...

Or give her all the money for gas, tickets, and food. Then after that give her an extra $100 for good favor. otherwise, it's a no-go.
