What's it like living in Northern Nevada? |
Travel Info Reason I ask is I'm looking for a new place to live out west and someone said of all the places he's been(he was a sales rep and visited virtually everywhere in the Western US) Northern Nevada was the best. It is a very rural place without the opportunities that exist in a more populous area. Mining is a big part of the economy as is ranching. The scenery is first rate and the outdoor activities are awesome. Ruby mountain heli-skiing is great if you are a skier. Hunting and fishing to die for. The small towns up there are nice. You also might want to check out southern Oregon. |
