Homes in Mississippi? |
Travel Info I'm looking to move to Mississippi to a nice small town, not in the flooding area. Maybe a small county home near fishing area's, hilly location. Any idea's on a nice area to live would be welcome. Don't want to live in an expensive area nor real poor. Thanks! Travel Tips Tupelo is a nice area. You could look into Vicksburg too. Even though I'm from MS, I can't really suggest anything else. I never really liked it there, and I moved. The only area I know of that is hilly is Carroll County in the northwesternish part of the state. I'm from nearby Greenwood - stay away from there (land is very flat). Columbus has antebellum charm but it's a boring town. There are lots of suburbs around Jackson and south of Memphis. Check out Horn Lake and Tunica. Also wanted to add that Starkville's kinda popular but I have certain college memories there, so I get depressed thinking about it. Others hi biloxi is pretty near the ocean too but yep storms go there. Look into a college town area like hattiesburg maybe. Also brett favre of the packers was born in Miss. look up where he's from maybe. usually college towns ya can't go wrong though. I fish in biloxi area though, i love the gulf. good luck |
