How is the beach in Biloxi? and Beau Rivage resort? |
Travel Info we are planning a trip to new orleans and biloxi in a few weeks...how is the beach since the hurricaine? and has anyone stayed at the Beau Rivage? how was it? Last question....did anyone take the ferry ride to Shell Island? like it? thanks for all info Travel Tips The Beau Rivage is wonderful & so beautiful. I stayed there before the Hurricane hit but I know many people that work there and it is back to normal since Katrina. If you have any problems ask for Bruce Norris he is in charge of Public Relations at The Beau Rivage & a wonderful woman named Laurie is his assistant. They were good friends with my Daddy before he passed away. I would be extremely careful in New Orleans since Katrina the crime rate has gone way, way up especially murders. The crime there was bad before the hurricane. So just be very cautious. I'm from Biloxi & grew up between the lighthouse & the Beau Rivage. I'm sure if you go to the beach and dig a little you might find some money or jewelry that was from a home or casino that was destroyed. Tip: Don't swim in the water at the beach. It's dirty & makes your skin itch. Have a great trip & be careful. Source(s): Me Other Travel Tips hah just spent the weekend in Biloxi actually. i have family there and visit at least 3 times a month. the beach is beautiful, but not nearly as crowded as it used to be. i havent stayed at the beau rivage since the hurricane, but i've been in it and it's beautiful. living flowers and trees inside everywhere, which makes it beautiful and smells wonderful! have fun on your trip! |
