Oregon or tempe AZ.?

We cant decide..I have a 31 ft. R/V, wife and 10 yr. old son, too move to oregon or tempe az. we live in southern Cali. now but toooo much crime here. I want a safe place for my family, and my wife loves waterfalls. I know oregon, I lived there years ago, but freezing in r/v does'nt fit my plans. Also boiling to death in AZ. might not be to much fun either...Anyone know a nice place in either state where we wont die?

Personally oregon doesn't get that cold. I love it near Portland and there are towns surrounding it within 50 miles that are really crime low. So far this year our temp hasn't gone above 90 and below 30. Which I believe AZ surpasses those temps all the time. Plus there is Great waterfalls around here Silver falls has 7 and I could find at least a dozen more.

Well, outside of Florence, (in Oregon) there's a pretty nice town called Mapleton... It's tiny and the school is great!

I've lived there all my thirteen years and can't get enough of it!

And, because it's so small, you make friends very quickly!
you could stay go to arizona, but stay at a higher elevation so that the summers aren't as hot.
