What sould I do in Branson, Missouri (MO)? |
Travel Info My family is planning on going there for vacation. If you have been there tell me some things we should do. I am 13 and an only child, so no kiddy-ish things please! I would love suggestions for restaurants. Also, what were the shows for the different decades like. They looked like they would be cool to go see! Thanks in advance! Travel Tips Silver Dollar City is pretty cool, they also have another amusement park there as well that is pretty fun if you are into rides. They also have a bunch of miniature golf courses, regular golf courses, a lake not too far away, a water park, and race car driving. The shows are very fun and they are enjoyable no matter what your age. There are also a ton of kids there, so you will be able to talk to others you age with no problem. Go to branson.com, there you will be able to see a bunch of stuff to do. The biggest thing to remember, you are on vacation, relax and have fun! Others I don't have a lot of positive things to say about branson, but silver dollar city was OK. I hate Branson! Sorry, but it's way too commercialized and tourist-oriented. You really should try Eureka Springs, Arkansas instead. Tons of cute shops, nice restaurants, kind of a little Switzerland of the Ozarks. I like it a lot better. Check it out! Just Google Eureka Springs, or if there's no choice, then Google Branson and you'll get more info than you'd ever need...K ;o) The Titanic Museum just opened up recently. It is shaped liked the ship and has plenty of artifacts that they salvaged. Branson Landing is a 400 million dollar shopping/restaurant/tourist area that opened up last year as well. Table Rock Lake is nice to visit also. You could also see a live show if it suits you. I also thought that they would be cheesy but then I saw a few and they were actually very good. And last but not least, Silver Dollar city. I live nearby Okay, I'm 27 & have been to Branson pretty much every year of my life - sometimes 2 years. So, for a 13 year old (I was an only-child too), I'd recommend Silver Dollar City, shopping, Branson Landing, Pierce Arrow music show, and the IMAX theater. |
