You have The Rockford Art Musuem, Burpee Museum of Natural History, Discovery Center Museum, Erlander Home Museum, The Ethnic Heritage Museum, Graham-Ginestra House Museum, Keeling-Puri Peace Plaza, Midway Village & Museum Center, Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum, Rock Cut State Park, Magic Waters(water theme park), Rockford Speedway, Many golf courses & regular parks, Rockford Ski Broncs(water ski show on the Rock River every Wed & Fri from June until Sept., Sportscore One(a 105-acre soccer and baseball complex with 8 lighted softball diamonds, 8 regulation soccer fields, 11 practice soccer fields, 9 sand volleyball pits, 2 permanent concessions with restrooms, 2 playgrounds, a soccer center building, boat ramps, fishing and a recreational path. It host dozens of tournaments each summer. It is adjacent to the Rock River in northwest Rockford.), Sportscore Two (a 124-acre site, that includes the Russell E. Wedgbury Stadium and the adjacent outdoor sports fields that offer a total of 32 playing fields.
