Could I travel to Switzerland without Swiss Visa? |
Travel Info I'm from Vietnam. I'm studying in England so I have Uk visa for student. I wonder I need Swiss visa or not. Please help me. Thank you. Travel Tips You need visa for Switzerland. Others I'm also Asian (from the Philippines). From the UK where I studied, I vacationed in Switzerland last spring. I did not need a Swiss visa because I had a 6-month student visa that had a stamp "UK Entry Clearance." Check out the website of the Swiss embassy in London for more details. Have fun! Think not: but check out: The Embassy of Vietnam in Bern Schl枚sslistrasse 26 CH-3008 Bern, Schweiz Tel.: +41-31-388 78 78 Fax: +41-31-388 78 79 E-Mail: info@vietnam-embassy.ch and: http://www.vietnam-embassy.ch/ good luck no you need a swiss visa or else they won't aloow to enter the country, the swiss keep very good track of the immigrants In theory, you can't. However, many times people are allowed to enter the country if they have a valid UK or Schengen Visa; but that's a chance you're taking. If you do decide to take the risk tho, it's better to fly to germany or some other schengen state (which is usually be no problem on a UK student visa) and then try to enter Switzerland through the border (inspections are less frequent and rigorous than they are at airports). |
