Where to go in Switzerland? |
Travel Info I am going on holiday the end of november for my birthday in Switzerland, where should I go and why. I am open to all answers. Travel Tips If you want to visit the mountains and see the beautiful scenery, go up to Jungfraujoch and/or Mt Titlis. You can also go to the town of Zermatt and go see the famous Matterhorn. If you want to just look at some of the lovely towns, I highly recommend Lucern and Bern. Enjoy, for if you love beautiful scenery, Switzerland is definitely THE place to go! :) Others The 1st. answer was spot on . May I just add www.sbb.ch. good luck. Take the trains in Switzerland. A famous one would be the Glacier Express. Visit the Interlaken area and travel down to Lake Como. My favourite cites are Bern and Basel. I also enjoyed Chur (in Graubunden). From Bern you can go to Interlaken, up to Murren and take a gondala lift to the Schilthorn. From Interlaken you can also participate in many extreme sports if you want to. Great scenery! You can visit a cheese factory in Emmental (near Bern) or a chocolate factory in Zurich! |
