Have you ever visited scotland as a tourist? |
Travel Info what made you want 2 go and what did you do on your visit? Travel Tips Yes, I have twice. I came to Dundee for a University exchange, and during a reception at the City Chambers of Dundee I met the boy that became my boyfriend. I visited Edimburg, Glasgow and Saint Andrews, and I was very impressed by the architecture, and the amazing landscapes. I was also very much impressed by the kindness of Scottish people, and the way we've been welcomed. Although I'm not sure haggis is the tastiest thing I've ever tried! I've been invited a second time shortly after by the Lord Provost of Dundee to come as a French Delegate, for a seminar and I got to meet people from Germany, America and Dubai who were invited as well, I keep a particularly good memory of this stay. I liked Scotland so much that I'm coming in September for one year to live and study there. Others i went for my friends birthday in january, had a great time. we went to the castle and saw the new parliament buliding and went on one of the tour buses which was a good way to see the city. definitely worth a visit Here is a great resource to make sure you see all the highlights and avoid the low points of Scotland. http://www.britannia.com/travel/barbarab... have visited clydebank Glasgow regular and have stayed in the Tudor house in drum rd.And strongly recommend it as a B&Bfor service , comfort and price. |
