St Enoch's Square, and George Square. I visit Glasgow a few times a year and always have a great time. Have fun. Others Well if it is shopping you want then where else other than the town centre, for all its falts Glasgow has to be the next best thing to London when it comes to shopping. It has the most ammount of shops. Well i'm sure Kelvingrove art gallery opens up again in 2 days... And if its a nice day, there's the botanic gardens and the peoples palace... There are no neds around as there are in city centre! The cinema on Ashton Lane, The Grosvenor, is well worth going to. The seats are big comfy leather ones or you can hire a big comfy leather sofa on the back row. And you can drink in it - there is a bar. The X-scape snowboarding centre at Braehead. um............................... Glasgow Green or............................... A football stadium or............................... The Glasgow Fort or............................... Swimming or............................... Braehead arena Xscape for snowboarding and skiing and tabogenning :D Take one of those tourist bus trips around the city then ask your friend what he/she wants to do. I've lived in a number of cities in the U.S. and found out I knew more about what to do because I took the tourist bus. When in Glasgow, I enjoyed the Tenement House. |
