What paperwork does a US citizen need to get married in the UK?

Does anyone know what sort of documents I will need to get married in Glasgow, Scotland? I am a US citizen marrying another US citizen who has lived in worked in the UK for 23 years. Do I need to bring copies of divorce papers of ten years ago? Thank you.
