Moving into a mobile home? |
Travel Info I want to live in a mobile home in france all year round is this possible Travel Tips I see no reason why not if you can find a site that will have you. Some sites only have permits for termporary stays though (it's the same in the UK) so you would need to check all those details first. Plus you have to tell the local authorities that you've moved to the area so they can bill you for rates, water, electricity and so on. Oh and tax of course. And you need pots of money to pay for your health care as you have to be insured and/or pay up front in France. As an EU citizen (I'm assuming you are British) you do not need a visa or anything like that. You can just go there and live, same as the French can just come here. Others Yes. Just make sure you've got a flushable toilet, plenty of make -up and a circus tent. No. You can't just "live" in france. They have laws keeping us out. You can visit for a period of time, for example, for vacation, but any longer and you have to apply for proper paperwork, etc. Yes of course you can , as a EU member you dont have visa worrys or any of that carry on , you must however find a site that allows 12 month living or else buy the land you site your caravan on and set up septic tank and power and water.................... Why dont you just buy or rent when you get there as property is really cheap compared to here ( I'm from Cumbernauld but living near Fraserburgh right now) I have looked at French property and its lots cheaper than you see in all this property abroad bollocks on channel 4. I'm looking at living in Bulgaria , even cheaper again :O) if you want more information IM or email me. Regards. good luck |
