Havent lived Glasgow for years and have not visited in 18 years what have been the big changes? |
Travel Info Are people still as cheeky and funny as I remember, quick witted and the like . Should I bring my kids 7 and 11 to visit? All my family are gone and I think I may remember it too fondly. Is George Square still busy at 3am? How is the housing situation/ Travel Tips Glasgow is still the same and the weegies still as cheeky. We know have the smoking ban in here so the pubs and clubs are breathable. Go on ashton lane on the evening and you'll see everyone having a laugh outside under the rain instead of indoors. The kelvingrove museum has just reopened and it's fantastic, especially for kids! Mummies and animals everywhere. It's now impossible to buy in the west end. The flats are just too expensive. the south side, especially strathbungo or pollokshields or still affordable and full of parks and shops. Very family orientated and it's only tenements and glaswegian styled buildings. I've been living in glasgow for 3 years and I love the city more and more. You definitely need to go back with the kids. |
