Do i need a passport to travel by plane to scotland?

Travel Tips
If you are travelling from another country you do! Why wouldn't you?

Maybe you should add details to your question - like where you are travelling from

Well, where do you live?
Yes.
Yes. No matter where you travel from, you need a passport to travel to a different country. It's been that way for a long time, so unless you live in Scotland, you need a passport.
Where are you from? I would say yes though.
Depends on where you're from. American and Canadian citizens require valid passports for travel to the UK- if you're not from either of those, I can't tell you offhand.

Your country's governments should have a website telling you about passport requirements- in Canada, it's www.voyage.gc.ca.
If you're travelling from outside the UK then you definitely do.

If you're doing a UK internal flight then you'll need some form of photo ID (driving license or Citizen Card) to be let onto the flight.

The EU laws don't specifically ask for a passport if you're travelling between EU countries but it's an accepted fact that you'll need one to go from country to country.

Hope this helps.
