Guys i need help for a place to stay in glasgow this summer!!? |
Travel Info hi everybody! may i ask u if u know some internet sites, where i can find houses for rent in glasgow? i saw that a b&b takes about 25拢 per day. me and my boyfriend want to stay for about a month more less, so i need to see if it is convenient to stay in a b&b or in a rented house. if u also know sites where i can find a temporary work there, then tell me please. thank u for all! kisses, Candy from Italy ....oh! what mean the letters "pcm" near 拢?? for example i saw "300 拢pcm" , on a site searching for the house. Travel Tips Hi, I'm italian anyway I answer u in English..I have been in Glasgow for 4 months as Erasmus Student...I know that during the summer u can book a room also in the accomodation for student (Campus) I don't know the prices but maybe are cheap. u can search here http://www.rescat.strath.ac.uk/accommoda... It's better to stay near the city center beacuse the transports are little bit expensive. For the work u can search in the restaurants (my friend have worked in a restaurant in Princess Square during the erasmus time) and what about pcm..I don't know maybe per month?!? Alternatively, you could try: Gumtree:http://glasgow.gumtree.com/ pcm is 拢 (price) per calendar month good luck..... its very hard and expensive to rent a house there isn't many that will let it for a month its usually a 6 months lease and apart from the 拢300 per month you also need a months rent for the deposit and then there is electric, gas and taxes and then the owner need references and so on, the city centre is the best area for a holiday as the suburbs can be expensive for travelling and the entertainment. as for b & B 拢25 per day - that not the sort of place you would want to stay in the average is 拢50 per day. |
