Great place! Limenas, Limenaria and the south and east coasts. Great forests although burned almost 7 years ago. Very good sea food. Mountains like Theologos and Megalo Kazaviti need exploring and you better be prepared to climb!
The reason you didn't get many answers is that Thasos is a virgin place and not many people have visited it. You will be astonished by the beaches.

Thassos is really beautiful , but not as vibey as the other islands like Mykonos/Santorini. It's one of the more quieter islands for those who really just want to relaxe and get away from all the buzz. It nice in that sense that you don't have so many tourist flocking everywhere like the other islands. Its still pretty busy in Jun/Jul & August but not as hectic as your popular islands.
thank you for ur question, I'm also thinking of going there this summer.. I'm a bit worried about transportation on the island itself, but hopefully you'll get many more informative answers to you questions from the people here on yahoo answers... thassos really seems like a great place to relax and enjoy the sun
