Travel Info Anyone think the "Maddy" case will have an effect on Portuguese tourism this summer? Travel Tips Yes I really think it will. Possibly not a massive effect but I think there will be families not willing to holiday there, particularly given the fact that Madeleine's whereabouts are still as yet unknown. Others Not at all... abductions happen in all countries... it's just a tragic event which I think everyone is hopeful will result in this little girl being found. Not if the BRITISH guy they've got in questioning turns out to be the kidnapper. yeah I think they will get loads of tourists from all over the world.. but just to be nosy.....!!!!! no, not really. it will make parents think twice about leaving children on there own though, which can only be a good thing No I don't think it will but parents may take more care when leaving their children. i think you will get a few tourists who are nosy and want to get in on it all whilst others, especially those with families will give it a wide berth. i dont think the majority will be put off though i dont think it will effect portugese tourism to a large extent. |
