Which is the most beautiful island of the Aegean sea in Greece? |
Travel Info I am from one of those and I want to know how high is in your list. Travel Tips Dear Dimitri: There is so much beauty in each one of the Greek islands that as FoxMulde already wrote, your question is almost impossible to answer. I toured all (ok ... most) of the Aegean and Ionian islands almost thirty years ago. I remember Amorgos fondly not just because it was a gorgeous island but also because it represented the dreams of my youth. I was in love in Aegiali and for me that little village will always hold a special place in my heart and my memories. Unfortunately, those wonderful memories keep me away from Amorgos now. We have both aged and matured and I am afraid that we would disapoint each other if we ever met again. It is you who is going to make whatever island you visit special. Rodos, of course...magnificent beaches with esmerald blue -green sea colour, forests, ancient greek, roman, bysantine, othman and italian monuments, night life, beautiful villages like the world wide famous Lindos, and the most important medievel city - museum, the city of the knights.... Samos island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Personally, i don't really think there is a "correct" answer to that question. If you ask 10 people, you might get 10 different opinions. And of course, no matter what we say, your island will always be the best for you!! Now, if you ask my personal opinion, i would say Santorini for its incredible scenery and amazing night life. However, Paros is also wonderful, Crete too of course and Rhodes as well. Every island is unique and has a beauty on its own. It's just a matter of preferances really!
