Travel Info I'm going to kokkari in Samos next week! Anyone know what I am to expect?!? Travel Tips First watch out when landing in Samos, (that is if you are flying). You come down at an extreme angle as the airport is quite close to the mountains. Kokkari in Samos was quite a quiet town on the coast when I was there. The people are very friendly and when you eat out you are often invited into the restaurant kitchen to choose what you would like to eat. Its a great place for families and safe for children. Watch out if you hire a moped as it was not compulsory to wear a crash helmet. Beaches are really nice but a bit pebbly. Be prepared for a very nice time. |
