I'm new to this forum please help me! WHAT ARE THE RULES HERE? |
Travel Info (REASKED QUESTION WITHOUT NAME) I'm a new user here.. And I'm trying to follow the rules. I asked 2 controversial questions. People pointed out that.. So I am now toning myself down... But then I receive this message (and another like it) from a regular here Subject:go away Message: I said get out of the greek section... You are just an intruder, and I can even guess somebody who intensionally has got an order to provoke... If you come back with whatever nick I wont report you to Yahoo but to the internet crime department of Greek Police, so that you'll find out what it means to call others racists... Note that you have to post your questions in the correct section. The section you are in is Travel, subsection Greece. So this forum is supposed to be destined to tourists who need info on travelling to Greece, not political international relationships. Also I'd like to point out that it is not very correct to display the personal emails you may be exchanging with others. If someone sends something to you, it is private, perhaps it is not meant to be read in public. You can ignore it or reply to it, but what do you gain by posting it here? Showing that a person is rude or non-democratic or sth? Who cares? Exactly because we are in democracy, everyone has the right to say whatever they want, you don't have to listen. Do you know how many insulting (really insulting, I mean harassment, swearwords, etc) emails I have gotten from people whom I even tried to help? Not even in the Greece section or anything, in totally irrelevant and uncontroversial stuff. You can even get emails by maniacs on Yahoo (I got such mails by people who had no interest in what I was posting as questions or answers, they just thought it was funny to harass me), you don't even have to accept personal emails (I had to stop them for some time because of some messages I was receiving). Anyway, what I mean is, in private communication, you can receive any sort of message. The guidelines and rules apply to the forum, where they are public. Others God, you are really soooo boring. Whats your problem btw? I dont get it. You come in the Greek section, posting provocative questions and then you offend others by posting their emails. Are you mentally deranged or something? Instead of thumbing us down, it would be wiser for you to visit a shrink. you are new to this forum but old to the provocation business this is a section for Greeks and for those who love Greece and you are not among them I saw your questions you saw our answers so bye bye lady The Greeks With all due respect (which u really do not deserve) I think that YOU DO KNOW THE RULES!!! Why would you ask if hate messages are ok? You are so pathetically lame, I feel sorry for you. The world has enough hate without you adding to it.
