Travel Info Which is your favorite painting and for what reason? Travel Tips Narcissus by Caravaggio... It's well known that he is the Master of chiaro scuro, the contradiction of light and dark, but I think that this painting of his gives an impression of serenity and mystery... Others The Scream by Edvard Munch I think he did a wonderful job of showing emotion with color and lines. I could stare at it for hours. I love the Potatoe Eaters by Van Gogh. It is so stark! Sistine Chapel by Michaelangelo Clocks by Salvador Dali The kiss by Gustav Klimt - out of this world. Nighthawks by E. Hopper. Ilove most of his paintings but this one is my best.... for now :) I agree with Edoardo.....Caravagio is the best....not just his NARCISSUS but all of his work. |
