Any italians or greeks? |
Travel Info my best friend and i are planning a trip overseas for new years, we're thinking of london, but i think i would be amazing to go to greece or italy, so any ideas what would we would be spectacular to do in either or country. we've been to rome so rome is out. thanks Travel Tips Eccomi, ne sono entrambi.... In Greece you'll find all important ancient monuments, marvelous beaches, good food, entertainment, night life, hospitality... In Italy the most magnificent cities, the masterpieces of rennaisance in architecture and art, and lots of shopping, but almost no night life and very mediocre beaches... Greece is the perfect destination for summer, Italy for the rest of the seasons. Intanto, se desideri la migliore combinazione dell' aria e del profumo dei due paesi, puoi andare alla isola di Rodos... Which means, in conclusion, Greece again... Leonarda, grazie, mi hai sollevato dal compito di rispondere dettagliatamente... Others My last trip to Europe as a single girl was a tour through Italy and Greece. It was awesome!!!! I used Cosmos. They had an extension 3 night cruise through some Greek islands. If I can and have the time I would go to both. And surprisingly enough, a tour to both countries cost about the same as a tour just through Italy. Definitely go to Greece...you will not regret it! Forget Italy! Go Greece! Venice does an amazing parade out on the middle of the piazza. It's almost like their festival DI carnivale in February. All in Pierrot mask's. There are two fellows in here that are both Italian and Greek Leonarda and Dellarevere. Wait for their response. Great idea. This is an affordable way to do it (if cruising is not an option): I would first fly over to Venice and try to rent a car and visit the surroundings for few days (3 or more). Then form Venice, you could take the ferry to Kefallonia and Corfu (closest Greek islands to Italy) and stay for 5-7 days in each island. You may wanna extend the Italy thing and reduce the Greece thing a bit (whichever way you want). If so then you need to take the train from Venice to Milano and fly over these islands (or directly from Venice). Great choice as well! Yes, I m greek italian.I would suggest you from Greece to see Rhodes, it has an italian air, since it has been made by the italians in 1912..The medieval city, the Aquarium, amd all the italian constructions. From Italy, since you saw Rome, thenFlorence, Ponte Vecchio Galleria Uffizzi, and Naples absolutely Pompei..Venice, is one also in the world, and i suggest also Ravenna with the byzantine mosaics, and Ferrara with Castello Estense... You can find very cheap tickets with alitalia or air one, direct to the majority of the italian cities, or charters from Italy to Greece in good prices. For more information you can ask me.. |
