Travel Info Have u ever been to Greece? Did u like it? Do most people speak English, too? Travel Tips I went for a month in a 1990, visited Crete, (Hania and Paleohora), Mykonos, and Athens. I had planned to travel to Santorini, and maybe a couple of other islands, too, but I just couldn't leave Mykonos. Now I would like to go back and visit Greece again and again! I think I could live there. Athens was also a nice surprise. The Acropolis is fantastic, and since I had stayed over in Mykono, I saw that and walked around the Plaka, had a great roll with a hot Greek, and just wandered around taking in the interesting streetscenes,; and that's all I had tiime for. English and other languages are common; no problem. Not even a problem in villages, just use hand signals and talk away and write down the numbers. Others Yes. I loved it, especially the islands of san torini and mykonos, nonn-stop partiying. yes most do speak english. Lived there for 2 years. i live in Greece, it's beautiful. yes most people speak english, because we work a lot with tourism. all the islands are beautiful. Greece is great.
