Maps of Mexico is the best online. AAA maps are minimal at best except for Baja. Even Gu铆a Roji maps are weak for road conditions but good for towns and cities.

BTW ... San Luis Potos铆 is not close to Lake Chapala. Lake Chapala is south of Guadalajara, the level is fine but it's polluted. And south of Lake Chapala is mostly the state of Michoacan.
