Whas is the average cost of living in Guadalajara, Mexico? |
Travel Info I'm thinking of moving there with my two kids, I'm a young person with experience in Network Administration. Not sure how hard it is to get a job there, buy a car, house etc. also schooling for my kids. Travel Tips I don't know why people has this perception about Guadalajara. Do not believe them. Welcome to Guadalajara. This is a beautiful and friendly city that has a lot of job opportunities for people like you. We have a lot of maquiladoras and industry here from Japan, US, etc. who are looking always for people like you. This is a very modern city that has everything you can find in a US city. I live here and I work for a company in Florida, and I can tell you that you can live here comfortably with around 2,500 to 3000 USD a month, including the private school for your kids. I have two kids in high school in a very good private university (Univa) and I pay around 500.00 usd monthly for both. A small car will cost you around 9,000.00, and a house in a good zone (not high class zone) will cost you around 150,000 or 200,000.00 usd. The best area to live in is Zapopan (west Guadalajara) |
