Travel Tips The municipality of Jalostotitl谩n and its municipal seat of the same name are located in the Los Altos region of the state of Jalisco, M茅xico. The municipality shares its border on the north with the municipaly of Teocaltiche, the east with the municipality of San Juan de los Lagos, to the south with the municipality of San Migeul el Alto, to the southwest with the municipality of Valle de Guadalupe, and to the west with the municipality of Ca帽adas de Obreg贸n. The city is located in a mid-section of the country, with semi-desert, arid lands to the north and more fertile lands to the south. Winters are relatively mild and hot summers. The municipality also includes the towns of Teocaltitan de Guadalupe and San Gaspar de los Reyes. The center of town are the churches that originate from the 1500's, when the city was first founded.
