Anyone ever been to Guatemala, how did you like it?

Travel Tips
It rains a lot in Guatemala city? I live here and I haven't seen rain for months. Its a very cool city but you have to know it to enjoy it, that's why so few tourists stay here and go directly to Antigua. I personally like to climb active volcanoes here, surfing, diving, yeah I like this country quite a bit! Source(s): Guatemalan

I did...i loved it. But you should watch out if you're walkin the streets b/c EVERYONE has the right of way...so if you're in the street, cars will NOT stop for you lol. and you should already know to keep your money hidden on you b/c they know if you're a "gringo," you got money. But other than that lol, it's beautiful there. It depends on which part you go to, but it may rain everyday. It rains a lot in Guatemala City. I suggest you go to Panajachel where the inactive volanoes are...you can get hotels and restaruants and clubs on the beach. I also went to Antigua. The buildings are breath taking...everything is so old, and it tells a big story. The people are very friendly in Antigua too.
yes, it was great

antigua and tikal are great, but i also enjoyed rio dulce and Todos Santos.
