Will I be allowed into Guatemala with a one-way ticket? |
Travel Info A 5 month volunteer stay. US citizen. Travel Tips When I crossed the border into Guatamala from El Salvador, I didn't even have a flight out of anywhere. I was just backpacking my way through South and Central America, I was never asked and I never worried about it, I spent a brilliant month in Guatamale (the best country in C. America) and then continued to Belize, Mexico and the States, before finally finally buying a flight from there back to the UK Others I doubt it. I've only traveled to Costa Rica (in Central America, anyway) and they require a return ticket. It can be dated 5-6 months out, but it is required. I went there to work with a one way ticket and they did not tell me anything I lived there for 4 months on a tourist card which was 10 dollars I think. i think there is no problem |
