Other Travel Tips if you get a tattoo I suggest that you not get it in a third world country. If youdo, DEMAND to see their autoclave ( the machine that sterilizes the needles.) if they don't have one you stand the chance of getting any of a half dozen blood bourne infections ranging from heptatitis c to HIV/AIDS. Many modern aids cases have come from getting tattoos done in a country where there are no health controls on tattoo parlours. Just so ya Know!... Are you crazy, go on a website and find a Mayan design if that's what you want. Then go to a local place recommended by a friend who knows what they are talking about. I am living in Guatemala and it`s not common to have tattoos, if they do they normally do them at home (tattoos cost money they don`t have) |
