Relocating : Changing provinces in Canada? |
Travel Info Me and husband and baby daughter thinking of relocating from montreal to halifax, however we have no idea where to start. I am on maternity leave and he has a full time job. We dont know if we should first find a place to stay and from there find a job ? Cause its like 15 hours drive between two cities and it could be quite costly for job interviews and what not. We arent very rich and dont have tons of savings, so we are thinking of first gathering a couple of grand and then moving there. Of course it could be risky but he is willing to find a "whatever" job till we get stable then he could look for something better. The thing is, both our families are gonna FREAK if they know we are moving without having a set job. Plus we are sort of moving really far away with their first grandchild. Anyway that aside, we are adults in our early thirties we are just so sick of this place and its har to find a decent job when we dont speak french. Where to start? job or appartment? thanks |
