Can't find any info on Sun, Moon, and Stars Gift Shop in Spencer's Island, Nova Scotia. Anybody know of them? |
Travel Info I was in Nova Scotia last week and saw a specialty item in the gift shop. Been kicking myself ever since for not buying it and now want to contact them to purchase/ship to Ontario. Any info would be helpful. Travel Tips Just to add to what was said above - There is an ad for a vacation rental on Spencer's Island that mentions that gift shop. It says: Visit the site where the 'Mary Celeste' was built. The Cape Chignecto Natural Park is less than 5 miles away. Drive to Cape D'OR Lighthouse for a view of the tides colliding and changing. Joggins Fossil center is within 15 mile drive. The Age of Sail shipbuilding Museum is also less than 12 miles away. In the adjacent town of Advocate, the scallop and lobster fleet can be seen coming and going with the tides, which are the largest in the world ( up to 40 feet). Others Hey, Finding the correct information for little shops in such rural communities is tough. My best bet would be for you to call some place in that area.Grab some of the brochures you got from that area. You could probably call some inn or restaurant located in Spencer's Island, and ask them if they know the number to the gift shop.
