Well most people would file a suit against the airline given most crashes where people survive are at the fault of the airline. So I presume a refund on your ticket is in order, and perhaps a lot more if you involve a lawyer.

refund?...better than that..you get to live..duh! of course air line don't want you to tell what really happened prior to crash.pilots were sleeping or playing scrabble... so they will pay you a tidy sum to shut your mouth.if you don't survive your beneficiary will get the $.happy landings.
if you survive i think the news attention the place you are staying would get they would more then likely give you a free trip latter
Only if you bought insurance. You'll probably be compensated by the airline, probably more than enough to make up the cost, but the other providers (hotel, rental car, etc.) are under no obligation to refund your money.
