I鈥檓 sure it鈥檚 completely safe in daylight. The last violent attack against foreigners was because of a debate between an English tourist and a taxi driver, but it was not racist but financial. Some months ago some Asian tourists were attacked in Budapest, but the attackers were not from Hungary鈥?So as you see, racist violence it鈥檚 not common here, I guess. Well, it鈥檚 sure this is not Russia. The chance somebody attacks you because of your race is not higher than anywhere else. Other Travel Tips my wife is african and lied two yrs. in Hungary.Her brother lives there still. There is racism,but little of violent.mostly small things like refusing to share a seat on the bus. There are some skinheads,but easily avoided. hope you have a nice trip. i have never seen someone get attacked, etc. Just like any country, if you arent dumb or say dumb things you will be fine. it is like the us but diff language i used to live there Modified 11 months ago |
