Travel Tips Yeah, I have had motion sickness all my life....car sick, even watching things move on tv makes me dizzy and nauseous...I have found one thing that works GR8, Ginger Root, which is a natural product. Others ive found that ginger works well. a pregnant friend got me onto it for flying, and it works well. anything ginger I've been a sufferer ever since I was a kid. The only thing that helps me is being cold! I learnt this is Australia...if you get sea sick, they say get into the spray of the water. It works! My motion sickness has been so bad at times that I have even been known to get a bout when getting laundry out of a top-loading washing machine when the washing barrell moves around inside the actual machine. Pathetic. I do. I think it relates back to a head injury Isuffered when I was just a kid. Even the merry- go-rounds the kids play with in parks make me nauseous. I'm not sure if the two are related but even cars would make me sick. I grew out of most of it but avoid carnival rides as much as possible. |
