I've often wondered, what happens to the little bars of soap that you don't use up, when you stay in a hotel? |
Travel Info When you stay in a hotel and/or motel, what happens to the remains of those little bars of soap that you never use up, unless you take them with you. (like I do)? Travel Tips For hygenic reasons all unwapped bars of soap are thrown out in the garbage. They can't reuse them and the staff sure doesn't want anyone else's germs. Usually there isn't much left of those little bars so it's not a big waste. If you're staying in a smaller establishment that's more upscale they quite often purchase their soaps from a small business soap maker so the more they replenish the better it is for her orders. If anyone is frugal just save your little leftover bars and when you get home put them in a nylon (knee high), tie a knot in it and you can use it to wash with. Others UMMMMMMMM........ pretty sure they throw them in the trash...................... duhhhhhhhhh Yeah! And the rest of the shampoo and conditioner in those little bottles? LOL! When I was there on my Philadelphia trip with my school for 3days and 2nights, my teachers took the soaps. XD im currently staying in a hotel right now and when the maids come in they just throw out the soap that was used in African hotels, the staff is taking it to use at home. |
